The entire Trump family has gone into full panic mode as a shocking new book is about to be released that reveals numerous secrets about their life inside the White House.
Daily Mail reported President Donald Trump and his former chief strategist were once so close that they would have dinner together almost every night. On the nights they didn’t dine together, Trump would retire to his residence and eat cheeseburgers in bed, often while watching three television screens at once as he ranted to friends on the phone about the media.
In his new book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” author Michael Wolff wrote that Trump added a lock to his door in the White House, infuriating the Secret Service, and that he screamed at housekeeping staff who tidied up after him.
“If my shirt is on the floor, it’s because I want it on the floor,” Trump allegedly told them.
Wolff claims that Trump was actually the source of much of the embarrassing information that was printed about him, as he was complaining day and night on the phone to people he should not have trusted.
“He was a river of grievances, which recipients of his calls promptly spread to the ever-attentive media,” Wolff wrote.
In one call back in February, Trump complained about New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman – “a nut job”- columnist Gail Collins – “a moron” – and CNN chief Jeff Zucker, who he said was “made by Trump.”
Trump was enraged by a Time magazine cover that branded Steve Bannon the shadow president.
“How much influence do you think Steve Bannon has over me?” Trump allegedly said. “Zero! Zero!”
The book shockingly claims that Trump and his entire team never intended to win, and that the entire campaign was simply meant as a branding exercise. Trump wanted to set up a network of his own, and was shell-shocked when the results began going his way.
“In the space of little more than an hour… a befuddled Trump morphed into a disbelieving Trump and then into a horrified Trump,” the book stated. “But still to come was the final transformation: suddenly, Donald Trump became a man who believed that he deserved to be, and was wholly capable of being, the president of the United States.”
Melania reportedly openly burst into tears, as she never wanted to be First Lady and had repeatedly been promised that this would “all be over soon.”
